How you can get involved
This is your chance to help launch one of the most hard-hitting and radical contributions to the debate on Sexual Discrimination and Equality in a decade.
The government's approach to discrimination is deeply flawed, sets up competing categories of "victim", and still leaves many individuals at risk of serious abuse because they cannot tick the right minorities box.
That is why the Consenting Adult Action Network have published "Beyond the Circle: Sexuality and Discrimination in Heteronormative Britain" by John Ozimek. The book is to be published in March 2010 - and we need your help.
As a first publishing venture, and a key part in our campaigning in the run-up to the General Election, we need this book to be a success. There are three ways you can help us do that.
Make a contribution
The first is by making some contribution - however small - to the cost of publishing this book. The main costs will, we hope, be covered by book sales. However, it is our intention to mail copies to key opinion formers, in parliament and the media - and this will incur costs we cannot recover.
Your donation will directly aid in our political campaigning.
Place an order
Second, order a copy now for yourself and maybe for your friends too. The book will retail at just £5 - plus post and packing (£1.50 to £3 in the UK: subject to application elsewhere in the world).
Whatever you do, it will help make a difference. Your support has been invaluable throughout the year: we cannot repeat often enough how important our supporters are to us.
Sponsor a politician
One of the things we will be doing with this book is sending it to deserving politicians: front bench spokespeople, as well as backbenchers and Lords who have demonstrated an interest in sexual issues.

Sell some books
If you’d like to take a number of copies back to your munch - or any other forum where you have a chance to sell a campaigning political book - this book has an audience far wider than the traditional "kink" set.
For instance, if you are currently running a book stall at a student fair or trade union conference, it is relevant.
Please be realistic: the more you can sell, the better. But we'd rather not be getting loads of unsold copies back later in the year.
